Can You See?
When snow and ice arrive it is
very important you take the extra time to completely clean all the snow and ice
off of your vehicle. This includes
front and rear windshields, all windows, mirrors, headlights, taillights, hood,
trunk lid, and the top of your vehicle.
Blowing snow from your hood could impair your vision and the snow on the
top on your vehicle and trunk lid could do the same to the driver behind you. A snowbrush/ice scraper is the perfect tool
for this job and the Performance Toyota of La Vista Parts Department has
several in stock in various colors and styles.
Your ability to see the road
depends on how well you can keep your windshields clean. Be sure to check that your rear windshield
defrost is working properly to prevent fog and condensation from accumulating
and impairing your vision. Check your
windshield wipers for cracks or damage that would cause them to not work
correctly. If your wipers need to be
replaced contact the Performance Toyota of La Vista Parts Department for
replacements. Finally be sure that the
windshield washer fluid reservoir is always full. Melting snow and ice from the road can be kicked up onto your
windshield and on a messy day you can easily go through half a gallon of fluid
so having extra in your vehicle may not be a bad idea.
With the Free "Winterize Your
Ride" Multi-point Inspection from Performance Toyota of La Vista a Toyota
Certified Factory Trained Technician will check your rear defrost/defog system,
top off fluid levels, and check windshield wipers. Schedule Service Online or bring your Car, Truck, Mini-van, SUV,
or CUV in the Performance Toyota of La Vista Service Department.
